The free checker
The counter gave you a sentence. This checker translates it — against the chains' own published warranty documents, not against what a counter says the documents say. It grades your proof honestly, including when the honest answer is "weak." It counts your purchase era, because the chains honor the terms from your sale date. And where a battery credit is math, it does the math.
A few picks. Nothing uploaded, no account, no login — the checker runs on this page, in your browser.
Likely rulings under the written terms — never a promised outcome. Your receipt's printed terms control over any general rule.
How to read the answer: Strong means you hold the paper these rulings turn on. Fightable means a real case with a gap to close first — usually the record search. Weak means today the purchase itself is unproven, and the checker will tell you where the proof still exists. Every standing is a likely ruling under the written terms — store rulings genuinely vary, and this site never promises an outcome.
Each chain's cells were read from its own published warranty documents: AutoZone's Starting & Charging warranty document, Advance's published general and battery warranty pages, O'Reilly's published warranty page, and NAPA's per-line warranty documents (there is no single NAPA consumer page — which is itself one of the findings). Cells are date-stamped (Oct 20, 2026) and the dataset is re-verified quarterly; the correction log is public. Where a number or rule could not be verified from a primary document, the checker flags it instead of printing it — NAPA's missing national number is the standing example.
